Creating a unit study doesn't have to be a daunting task and can benefit all types of learners--but especially the squirrely ones! Our formerly traumatized kids were unable to do reading and math when they moved in but that doesn't mean we didn't learn! We did unit studies and found them to be great ways to learn AND build relationship.
