I am a homeschool mom with six children.
I am venturing into lapbooking with the children. We are incorporating this into our Truthquest History studies, Heart of Wisdom Bible Study and Science, and some just fun independent studies which the children. I am not crafty. In fact, this is a serious weakness of mine, so I need all the help I can get. There are two types of lapbooks, cutting and pasting, and electronic. Here are some fun links that I have been using to learn from. Let me know if you can share any to help me out. Some of you might know a lot more than I do about this so please share.

If you want to try a free easy made lapbook  this is an eagle lap book that is great quality (fabulous) for FREE. Click HERE. Could be a fun summer project....

Also, here are some of my favorite links and websites I found about lapbooking:

Resources to help with Lapbooking:
Are you overwhelmed with starting out? Are you too busy to find material to cut and paste as a beginner? I recommend Currclick download ebooks or In the Hands of a Child spiral books or ebooks to get you started. I recommend downloading one of these sets until you find a series that you like (Be careful. I really like some of the In the Hands of the Child (HOC), while I am not at all impressed with others, especially the $8 HOC ebooks on currclick). Also, HOC weblink lets you see much better HOC samples. This is a good way to start off until you get more confident.  After some practice,  you will be more confident to go off on your own and save a lot of money (Photoshop helps with this clicking, pasting, and copying).

Currclick- offers lapbooks of various sorts for beginners or older children (I love the Understand Weather, excellent for 9 years or up. And, it is only five dollars per ebook-excellent deal).
In the Hands of a Child- Make sure you order the membership-awesome (instantly three lapbooks come with it and much, much more.) They also have a free lapbook to be downloaded from their site every quarter.
Free Downloads for Lapbooks
History Pockets-borrow from your library and lots of goodies to copy for lapbooking
Printables from CD
illustrations printables &  Electronic downloads/cd for Lapbooking
Dover Free Downloads
Free Download units for Lap booking
The Ultimate Lap Booking Handbook -this is a book you can buy through amazon. I really like mine.
Enchanted learning- this website offers thousands of materials to copy, cut, and paste for lapbook  themes for a year membership for $20 (well worth the money so check it out). They do have some freebies as well for non-members.
Homeschool Electronic Expo yep, worldwide web of homeschoolers conference via the web. Strange but true. Check it out. There are lapbooking talks and such on there.
Free Reading Organizers
FREE LAPBOOKS @ homeschoolshare (includes FIAR studies and much, much more)
http://www.sitesforteachers.com/index.html -tons of website listings for free clip art and stuff
FREE lapbooks by other moms
Free Graphic Organizers

Digital Electronic Lapbooking
Digital/Electonic Lapbooking

* I found a lot of great lapbook resources on www.heartofwisdom.com. If you have a hard time navigating because their site is so big, highlight stores, then home-books, then key categories on left: clip art, unit studies, illustration cd, timeline, scrapbooking, and more. There is a lot of great resources to check out!! You can buy a cd for your time period with hundreds of clip art, illustrations, and more. You can also venture into their electronic lapbooking.

HAPPY LAPBOOKING!!!
