My name is Elizabeth, and I am the happy wife of ten years to Fabio and fulltime mama to four beautiful children: Joshua-9, Dominique 7, Israel- almost 5, Johann-3 and expecting a new baby in April 2012! We are currently living in Brazil as missionaries and life never ceases to be an adventure!!!

As long promised, you now have the opportunity to begin submitting your questions here for our new column which is forthcoming. Rhonda Robinson is a mother of nine and grandmother of 14, who believes the single most powerful force in America today is a vigilant mother, unafraid to nurture and protect her children.
Still married to her high school sweetheart, Rhonda is a homeschooling mother by day, and a weekly newspaper columnist, speaker and freelance writer by night (actually, really early morning before anyone is up—but it's still dark out, so that counts.)
Spanning 20 years of homeschooling and childbirth, Rhonda has gained over 572 pounds and lost 500, nursed a total of 17 years, changed at least 29, 952 diapers, and rocked over 5,000 miles of tearful terrain. She holds a Master's degree in laundry and speaks fluent toddler.

How do you fit in one-on-one time with your children? I've been missing that lately. I used to think we didn't need it so much, but Mrs. Tripp just mentioned that in the interview with her, and I'm really feeling a need for it, too.

This week we had our first pre-natal visit and our first ultra sound. Seeing my little one on the screen was so amazing! Dan was there too, of course, and he got really excited. This little person that is growing inside of me, my baby, wow… and I can already make out certain body parts. Truly amazing!! And to hear his/her little heart beat is unreal. What a blessing from God! |
