After no luck trying to clean my poor tub, I decided to go for a more "natural alternative"--vinegar. I had tried everything it seemed, and was making no progress -- only to find myself with a headache (BAD!) from all the fumes.
Well, I got a spray bottle from wal-mart and filled it with distilled white vinegar. I sprayed that over my tub and sprinkled with baking soda. After the fizzle went away, I scoured and voila!, much better. Who knew, huh? I can finally clean without worrying that I will be getting into a tub with toxic junk getting all over my skin - or be able to cook and clean my counter without getting poisoned by cleaner, since vinegar is something that can be taken in.
